Ross Milstead is a dramaturg, playwright, and poet from Atlanta. Ross is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul, where he received a BFA in dramaturgy, workshopped his play Cassandra at Cumae, and served as a production dramaturg. In his writing Ross tells stories about connection, alienation, trauma, and healing, using myth, history, and humor to examine the world through a critical and compassionate lens. As a production dramaturg Ross enjoys conducting thorough historical and artistic research to nurture his collaborators’ impulses and acting as a resource, advocate, facilitator, and bridge. He is currently a literary intern at Urban Stages Theater and is thrilled to be a part of The Aurelians Collective.
